Conan Exiles Enhanced Is Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with PC Cross-Play!

Greetings Exiles, 

We are beyond excited to announce that Conan Exiles Enhanced is coming to PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027, bringing an enhanced version of the open-world survival experience to the current generation of consoles. 

Following its successful launch as a free update for Steam owners in May 2025, Conan Exiles Enhanced is making the leap to consoles following strong demand from the community. Existing owners will receive a free upgrade from PlayStation®4 to PlayStation®5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S. 
 
We are also happy to announce that full cross-play is coming to Conan Exiles Enhanced – soon after launch.

Conan Exiles Enhanced brings significant visual improvements across environments, characters, lighting, and effects, making the brutal world of Conan more immersive than ever. The release also features a redesigned UI, performance enhancements, and a range of quality-of-life improvements designed to make exploring, building, surviving, and conquering smoother on current-generation hardware. 

The Enhanced edition also brings the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah expansion, available as a separate purchase, together into a more seamless and immersive experience. 

Whether you’re returning to a fortress built years ago or setting foot in the Exiled Lands for the first time, Conan Exiles Enhanced is the definitive way to experience the savage open world of Conan on console. 

In addition we are revealing that Part Three of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc is coming on November 10. This time Akhamet will be taking on a bigger role in the quest – and maybe a bigger part of your experience going forward. More details about Part Three, and what awaits players in the next chapter of the story, will be revealed at release.  

The release date and further details about Conan Exiles Enhanced on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be shared at a later date. In the meantime, you can find more information in our FAQ below.

When will Conan Exiles Enhanced be released on consoles? 
Early 2027, release date to be announced.   

Will Conan Exiles Enhanced be available on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S, and will it be free for existing owners? Yes, Conan Exiles Enhanced will be available as a free upgrade to all existing Conan Exiles owners on PlayStation and XBOX when it launches on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S.

Purchasing either version will give you access to both Conan Exiles Enhanced and Conan Exiles Legacy. 

How will I be able to access the update? 
Conan Exiles Enhanced is its own game on consoles, separate from Conan Exiles Legacy. If you already own Conan Exiles on consoles, you automatically get access to Enhanced for free. Anyone purchasing either version in the future, will get access to both versions of the game. 
 

Will my purchases carry over? 
Yes, everything you own in Conan Exiles will carry over to the Enhanced version. Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC, and Twitch Drops will all be available in the Enhanced version.     

Note: Crom Coins will no longer be valid on the Conan Exiles Legacy versions once Conan Exiles Enhanced is released, as the Bazaar will be disabled in Conan Exiles Legacy. However, Crom Coins will carry over for players who wish to continue their journey in Conan Exiles Enhanced. If you plan to continue playing the Conan Exiles Legacy version, we recommend spending your currency before the release of Conan Exiles Enhanced. Any purchases made in the Enhanced version will not apply to the Legacy version. 

Will cross-play be supported when Conan Exiles Enhanced launches? 
Yes, full cross-play is coming to Conan Exiles Enhanced, soon after launch. 
 
Will the Legacy of the Giant-Kings content and Bazaar items released for Conan Exiles Enhanced on PC (Steam) also be available on consoles? Yes, the Legacy of the Giant-Kings content and all new Bazaar items released for Conan Exiles Enhanced on Steam will be available on consoles at launch. 
 
Will there be any future content releases for Conan Exiles Enhanced across all platforms? Yes, we plan to continue supporting Conan Exiles Enhanced with new content across all platforms throughout 2027 and beyond. We'll share more details about what's coming later. 

Will existing saves carry over?   
Depending on how you play, there will be multiple options available when you switch to the Enhanced version.   

Official Servers: If you play on an official Legacy Exiled Lands server, your server will be updated to the Enhanced version with everything carrying forward in the update. Your character, followers, and bases will not be affected. This does not apply to Isle of Siptah servers, however. The island itself has been merged with the Exiled Lands, which allows for a better experience in switching between the two maps, but this required a change to the physical coordinates of the island. As such, bases on the Isle of Siptah cannot be preserved in the Enhanced update.  

 
We will provide more information on how players and private server hosts can prepare for this closer to release. 

Will there be continued support on Conan Exiles Legacy? 
The Legacy version will remain available on consoles as Conan Exiles Legacy (XBOX, PlayStation). The Legacy version will receive necessary updates to address critical bugs but will not receive any new major content updates or support. The Legacy version will no longer have access to the Bazaar nor official servers. 

Note: Crom Coins will no longer be valid on the Conan Exiles Legacy versions once Conan Exiles Enhanced is released, as the Bazaar will be disabled in Conan Exiles Legacy. However, Crom Coins will carry over for players who wish to continue their journey in Conan Exiles Enhanced. If you plan to continue playing the Conan Exiles Legacy version, we recommend spending your currency before the release of Conan Exiles Enhanced. 

Note: If players choose to continue playing in Conan Exiles Legacy, they can do so in single-player or on a private server. We will provide more information on how players and private server hosts can prepare for this closer to release. 

 
What will the server structure look like for Conan Exiles Enhanced on consoles? 
Siptah Server Merges: Similar to the Conan Exiles Enhanced launch on Steam, Siptah servers will need to merge with Exiled Lands servers.  

Official Servers: Official Exiled Lands servers will transition from Legacy to Enhanced. Once this happens, Legacy players will no longer be able to access official servers without moving to the Enhanced version. 

Single-Player Saves: Single-player saves will carry over to the Enhanced version, but not the other way around. Once a save is loaded in Enhanced, it can no longer be opened in Legacy. If console players are unable to back up their save files, this change will be permanent. 
 
We will provide more details soon for you to prepare ahead of the Enhanced launch.   
 
Can I play on any official servers, regardless of the version of the game I am using? 
Official servers will be updated to Conan Exiles Enhanced. If players currently have characters on official servers, those characters will also be updated to Conan Exiles Enhanced. If players choose to continue playing Conan Exiles Legacy, they will not have access to official servers moving forward. 

 
We will have more information on options for players regarding official and private servers closer to launch. 

Why won't there be any Isle of Siptah servers in Conan Exiles Enhanced?The Isle of Siptah has been integrated with the Exiled Lands in Conan Exiles Enhanced, allowing players to travel between both maps without switching servers. 

This change creates a more seamless gameplay experience and removes the need for separate Isle of Siptah servers. However, integrating the two maps required changes to the island's coordinates, meaning existing bases on the Isle of Siptah cannot be preserved during the upgrade.
